Happy Birthday Malala!

Today, Malala turned 16,  and she celebrated it by delivering an absolutely moving speech at the United Nations. While many girls her age dream about a “sweet 16” lavish gathering,  -she instead- stood stronger and prouder than ever as she asked for the right to an education for every single child. What a great example for so many teenagers! She’s an amazing leader and I’m totally convinced that she will have a bright future.

Happy Birthday Malala!

“I speak not for myself but for those without voice … those who have fought for their rights — their right to live in peace, their right to be treated with dignity, their right to equality of opportunity, their right to be educated.”
